I know there are times when you get frazzled,

But you’ve been given the job of teaching children,

So I thank you, For all you do.

To kids of every size,

For lessons you personalize,

For being there 

When so few care,

Their value you recognize,

of teaching America’s young people, are truly today’s heroes.

You are there to encourage students, to provide vision; to listen when no one else will;

to help develop their God-given talents; and to allow them to reach higher than perhaps

they ever dreamed possible. And through your honesty, integrity, understanding, patience,

determination, courage, and virtue, you show students, staff & community how

to live and how to learn.

So thanks for so many things,

It’s time to let you know;

The lives you touch,

You’ve shown so many how to grow.
