“Seven Steps to Happiness

Description:

 This self-reflective workshop enables participants to progress through seven important steps to happiness as a teacher.  Guaranteed to be a crowd pleaser, this workshop has received rave reviews whenever it is presented.  “They’ll laugh, they’ll cry, they’ll share,” the presenter promises.  All of us experience burnout from time to time, but the material presented will cause participants to remember why they became a teacher.  This session is designed for anyone who works with children, and it is filled with anecdotes and real-life situations.  A 24-page workbook for each participant is required at $2.00 per participant.  Time required:  3 - 4 hours   

 

“I’m Here to HELP!”

Description:

 His first and most requested speech, this 45 - 60 minute talk will motivate anyone who works with children.  Utilizing first-hand experiences over this thirty year career in public education, Riney will touch all of your emotions during this fast-paced, heart-hitting talk.  Most often requested as a  “beginning of school year” keynote speech, a mid-year “picker-upper,” a teacher appreciation banquet, or anytime your staff could use a good “shot in the arm” to re-focus on why they are in the most important profession in the world.  Guaranteed to make you laugh, cry, and re-enter the world of children with renewed enthusiasm and appreciation.  Time required:  45 - 75 min.   

 

“You’ve gotta have HEART”

Description:

 A workshop designed for secretaries and other para-professionals.  This workshop is entertaining, stimulating, and fast-paced.  Attributes such as attitude, enthusiasm, and trustworthiness are addressed.  Plenty of humor and food for thought in this 1/2 day workshop.  Time required:  2 - 3 hours   

 

“Back to Basics:  Ten Characteristics of Successful Parents”

Description:

 Using humor and first-hand experiences, this workshop will give the participants ten characteristics for effective parenting, plus “some other good stuff you need to be doing.”  Parents who have attended this workshop have said they “couldn’t wait to get home and love their children.”  This motivational workshop has been described as “heart-hitting” and promises to be one of the most enjoyable workshops you have ever attended.  Time required:  2 - 3 hours 

 

 “Taking Care of Business:  A Public Relations Workshop for Everyone”

Description: 

Finally, a PR workshop that is understandable and uses a common sense approach.  The seven steps include:  1. Taking care of yourself,  2. Taking care of those with whom you work,  3. Taking care of the "office",  4.  Taking care of the “customer,” 5. Taking care of the company image, 6.  Taking care of your “lighter side,” and 7.  Taking care of tomorrow.  Fast-paced, practical, and just plain fun! A 24-page workbook is required of each participant at a cost of $2.00 each.  Time required:  3—4 hours

Description:

This address is perfect for high school commencements.  Doing your best in life means believing in yourself, enjoying your work, standing up for what you know is right, and taking life one day at a time.  Utilizing humorous and touching stories, students will hear an address that will not soon be forgotten.  All graduates receive a small memory card which serves as a reminder of these important aspects of life. Time required:
